   Home		   So you want to contribute to Mija Magazine? 

  Mija Magazine encourages writers/models/musicians/poets ect. in all fields to contribute their work to us. 
  The content of the submission piece can be of any subject or issue the writer feels suitable for Mija Magazine.

  Articles - must have a 350 word minimum, there is no cap determined on how large your article can be.  At this
  time, Mija Magazine is not paying contributors for their submissions. (Hopefully soon!) 
  NOTE:  The Editor has the right to alter any stories to conserve space, if needed.

  Models - If you want to be a featured model; pictures should have clear lighting with no red eye, or scratches.  This does not
  mean for all of you to go buy digital cameras; it just means to make sure the picture is representing you as you want
  to be represented. Models that want to be featured in popular sections such as, Home Page, La Vida, Mija Xchange,
  Mija Style, Familia Living, The Arts, Links, Academija and Entertainment; should have a dimension size of  Height 216 x Width
  325 pixels or 3 inches in width and 4.5 inches or so in height.  All models are required to provide the rights to the pictures,
  (i.e. Pictures taken by Big Brown Eyes Productions). Mija Magazine is too young to be getting into lawsuits with photographers.

  To all models and writers:  As a networking/promotion source for our exposure; Mija Magazine has several affiliates throughout
  the Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Illinois.  If you would not like your story publicized through these affiliates please specify it
  in your submission.  Mija Magazine is doing this to gain exposure, as our goal is to be a published magazine nationally by Mid 2006.  

  Please be reminded that a good 65% of Mija Magazine is due to your submissions.  Our goal is to grow and be a strong network for
  all Latinas in whatever field they are in.  We will accept many stories, but be aware if a story similar to yours has already been
  submitted; there will be a significant amount of time until your story is publicized via mijamag.com or in magazine form. 

  Mija Magazine has the right to accept or not accept any or all submissions without cause.
